We are pleased to report that this project to upgrade the Lochmaddy ferry terminal for the new ferry on the Skye Triangle ferry route is now almost complete. The works comprise a caisson pier extension, strengthening and concrete repairs to the existing pier, replacement of fenders, dredging and an enlarged marshalling area. The works are being undertaken by Contractor, George Leslie, on behalf of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council).
