PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Significant refurbishment works to fender system, pier deck and linkspan during a challenging closure period. Works also included dredging of berth and approach.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Outline design and concept development for: Civil Works and PMF fendering system. Detailed design of marine civil works including; demolition of concrete deck, piles and existing fendering system, repairs to existing structures, tubular steel bearing piles, fender piles, reinforced concrete deck (3te/m2), quayside area slabs; general drainage and services. Site Supervison and Project Mangement.

KEY FEATURES
Rapid development of detailed design to a very tight programme. Deck comprised precast components and fendering fabricated offsite to enable speedy construction on site.
