UIG FERRY TERMINAL UPGRADE WORKS
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The existing ferry pier is being upgraded with the construction of a new breakwater to shelter the ferry berth and support the existing pier to allow new fendering to be attached. The linkspan is to be replaced with new support dolphins and bankseat.

Linkspan dolphins: 9m x 4.5m x 3m Pile caps on 10 tubular piles – Piling 260t, Concrete 610t

Bankseat: 10m x 4.5m x 2.5m Pile cap on sheet piled box – Piling 110t, Concrete 160t
