ULLAPOOL TERMINAL BUILDING EXTENSION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The existing terminal building had to be extended to provide an increased area for passengers sailing on the new ferry MV Loch Seaforth and to provide first floor access to a new Passenger Access System to suit the new vessel.

KEY FEATURES
The terminal building was originally designed for a 2nd storey so new steelwork could connect onto ground floor steel columns. Curved roof with balcony on seaward face to increase floor area and internal columns removed with trusses. First Floor connected into the new passenger access system to use exit stairs for emergency exit to building. Two new lifts installed for disabled access to passenger access system and first floor.
